As we prepare to welcome you back inside the Colony Theatre for the start of our exciting 2021-2022 season, the safety of our patrons, artists, and staff remains our top priority. In spite of the recent promising trend of COVID-19 in Miami-Dade County, Miami New Drama is updating its Health & Safety Protocols out of an abundance of caution. These changes will become effective December 4th, 2021 with the start of performances of A Wonderful World.
We understand that for some of our patrons, these protocols may feel too restrictive, and that for some they may not seem strict enough. Our goal is to share the magic of live theater with our entire community, safely, and as free of barriers as possible. We will regularly be assessing these protocols to ensure they meet the moment.
Art has the power to transcend the anxieties and divisions of daily life. And we hope that with reasonable precautions, we will all feel comfortable leaving those divisions outside the theater, and uniting inside the Colony Theatre once again to share in the telling of extraordinary stories.
