Ticket Purchases and Admission

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of tickets to performances and events produced or presented by Miami New Drama (“Miami New Drama,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including performances at the Colony Theatre and other venues. By purchasing tickets through our website, box office, or any authorized seller, you (“you,” “your,” or “the purchaser”) agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Tickets and Pricing

All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to availability. Prices may include per-ticket and per-order service fees, which are displayed before you complete checkout.
You are responsible for verifying the production, date, time, and seats before completing your purchase.
Your order confirmation email serves as your receipt and proof of purchase. Please retain it.
We may impose a maximum ticket limit and refuse to accept orders which exceed the maximum ticket limit. Tickets purchased in excess of a ticket limit may be canceled without notice.
Discounted tickets may be offered through special promotions. Only one promotional or discount code may be applied per order, and codes cannot be combined or stacked with other offers, discounts, or subscription pricing. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to orders already completed.

2. All Sales Are Final

All ticket sales are final. We do not provide refunds except where a performance is canceled by Miami New Drama (see Section 6) or where a refund is required by applicable law. This policy applies to all purchases, including but not limited to late arrival, non-attendance, and change of plans.

3. Ticket Exchanges

Exchanges may be available for a different date of the same production, subject to availability.
Exchange requests must be received by the box office at least 24 hours before the performance printed on the ticket.
Any difference in ticket price is payable at the time of exchange. Lower-priced exchanges do not receive the difference as a refund.
Subscribers can exchange tickets for another performance free of charge.
Single ticket holders can exchange tickets for a $10 per ticket service fee.
Exchanges are not permitted after the performance date has passed.
If seats in the same price category are not available, a difference in ticket price may apply if the available seats are in a more expensive section of the auditorium. There are no refunds for the difference in ticket price.

4. Late Arrival and Seating

Performances begin promptly at the published time. Latecomers may be seated at a suitable break, at intermission, or not at all, at the discretion of house management and depending on the staging of the production.

Because of the intimate and in-the-round nature of some Miami New Drama productions, certain performances may have no late seating. Late arrival does not entitle you to a refund, exchange, or credit.

Miami New Drama suggests arriving 45 minutes prior to curtain.

5. Non-Attendance (No-Shows)

Tickets not used for the specific performance for which they were purchased have no value after that performance and are not eligible for a refund, exchange, or credit.

You may choose to donate the value of unused tickets.

6. Performances Cancelled or Rescheduled by Miami New Drama

In the event of cancellation and major changes to an Event, Miami New Drama will communicate the ticket–holder’s options by email to the person who purchased the tickets and on our website miaminewdrama.org. If the ticket–holder is not opted in to receive email or other communications from Miami New Drama, or is not the person that purchased the tickets, it is the ticket–holder’s responsibility to contact Miami New Drama’s Box Office to be advised of changes or options.
If Miami New Drama cancels a performance, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price or, where offered, an exchange into another performance.
If Miami New Drama reschedules a performance, your tickets will be honored for the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund or exchange within 15 days of the announcement.
Service fees are not refundable. Service fees help Miami New Drama provide and maintain services for customers and ticket–holders, including administrative costs, upkeep of systems, covering the cost of processing and credit card fees.

7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge or your order, please contact the box office first. We will work with you in good faith to resolve it.

Initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal with your bank or card issuer for a valid, completed purchase, rather than contacting the box office, is a breach of these Terms. In such cases, Miami New Drama reserves the right to:

dispute the chargeback and submit your acknowledgment of these Terms and your order record as evidence;
cancel any tickets or orders associated with the disputed charge;
recover any fees incurred as a result of the dispute; and
decline or restrict future ticket purchases.

8. Admission and Code of Conduct

Your ticket is a revocable license to attend a specific performance. Miami New Drama may refuse admission to, or remove from the venue, any person who is disruptive, poses a safety risk, or violates venue policies, without refund. Content advisories, run times, and language notes are provided on each production page. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to review these before purchasing and attending.

9. Photography and Recording

Unauthorized photography, video, or audio recording of any performance is prohibited. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded by Miami New Drama for archival, promotional, or press purposes as part of a general audience.

10. Resale

Miami New Drama is the only authorized ticket seller for our performances. Tickets may not be resold above face value or through unauthorized channels. Tickets that are resold or transferred in violation of these Terms, or that are counterfeit, may be voided without refund.

11. Accessibility

Miami New Drama is committed to accessible experiences. For accommodations, including assistive listening or translation devices where offered, please contact the box office in advance at boxoffice@miaminewdrama.org.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miami New Drama’s total liability arising from or related to any ticket purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the affected ticket. Miami New Drama is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

14. Changes to These Terms

Miami New Drama may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Continued use of our website or purchase of tickets after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
