What time should I arrive for the show?

It is best to arrive 45 minutes prior to the performance start time. Usually, the doors will open 30 minutes prior to performance start time to allow guests to take their seats. As a courtesy to the other guests and performers, late seating will be held until appropriate moments during the performance. Please note that there will be no refunds or exchanges for latecomers.

What happens if I arrive late?

Please arrive early as all performances will begin promptly at the designated start time. Late arrivals will be seated at the discretion of Management, or may be denied entrance once the show has begun.

Are children permitted?

Children ages 5 and under are not permitted to attend Miami New Drama shows. Furthermore, some shows may have stricter age restrictions if the content is deemed to be inappropriate for a specific age range. Please check the details of your show before purchasing tickets for children 18 and under.

Are there nearby options for dining?

Is photography or video recording permitted?

The taking of photos/video is permitted in the lobby and theater before the show begins. Once the show begins, taking photos/video is strictly prohibited both for the safety of the performers and crew onstage and in accordance with the rules of AEA.

Where can I find parking?

​There is nearby street parking along Lenox Ave. Several parking garages are located around the theatre including LAZ parking located at 1111 Lincoln Road on the corner of Alton and Lincoln and Lincoln Road Parking Mall located at 599 17th st  located on 17th st between Euclid and Pennsylvania Ave. Park Me and Park Mobile offer parking and payment services via a free app available online. https://www.parkme.com/miami-beach-fl-parking

Is there a drop-off area by the front of the theater?

The Colony Theatre is located on Lincoln Road, which is a pedestrian-only pathway. Guests can be dropped off on Lenox Ave. and the corner of Lincoln Road just a few steps from the Lobby Entrance.

​What accommodations are available?

​Our theatre meets ADA requirements for wheelchair accommodations and  their companions. Please inform the Box Office if you plan to use our wheelchair-accessible seating while ordering your tickets.

What is the refund policy?

Sales are final and non-refundable. Exchanges can be made up until 24 hours prior to showtime for a $5 exchange fee per ticket.
