5 Weeks of Theatrical Fun at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and Miami Beach Regional Library!
Programs (Ages 8-12) are designed to develop your skills as a young actor, playwright, and well-rounded theater artist!

Thanks to Miami-Dade County's Summer Food Service Program, this year our Intensive sites will be able to offer free, nutritionally balanced meals to children under 18. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
The 2024 Summer Intensive will consist of two (2) sessions:
1. Introduction to Commedia dell'Arte
June 24 - July 3 (Weeks 1 - 2)
Participants will immerse themselves in the vibrant realm of Commedia dell'Arte, a timeless Italian theatrical tradition filled with excitement and creativity!
Week 1: Monday - Saturday (6/24 - 6/29)
Week 2: Monday - Wednesday (7/01 - 7/03)
Location: Miami Beach Botanical Garden
Cost: $900 for the session ($100 / day)
2. A Musical Theater Journey
July 8 - July 26 (Weeks 3 - 5)
Young artists will embark on an unforgettable adventure into the world of fascinating musical theater, tailored specifically for them.
Week 3: Monday - Friday (7/08 - 7/12)
Week 4: Monday - Friday (7/15 - 7/19)
Week 5: Monday - Friday (7/22 - 7/26)
Location: Miami Beach Regional Library
Cost: $1,500 for session ($100 / day)

To be eligible for a full scholarship, applicants must commit to attending all five weeks of the Summer Theater Intensive. Please note that failure to attend all five weeks may result in the forfeiture of the scholarship offer. Exceptions may be granted in extenuating circumstances, subject to review by administration.
