At Miami New Drama, the health and safety of our staff, artists, and audiences are of utmost importance. Although there are currently no confirmed cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Miami-Dade County, we are adopting enhanced protocols to ensure the health and safety of visitors to the Colony Theatre. This includes nightly antiviral spraying of the auditorium, and daily wiping of every touch surface such as door handles, handrails, and armrests. We are also providing additional tools and training to staff to ensure proper cleaning techniques are utilized, and have suspended the collection and recycling of programs. We encourage our audience, artists, and employees to follow the widely-reported hygiene practices regarding hand washing, covering sneezes and coughs, and other common sense precautions. If you are coughing, not feeling well or experiencing flu-like symptoms, we encourage you to stay home and contact the Box Office to reschedule your tickets.

During the run of our current production, A Wonderful World, we are eliminating exchange fees and will work with you to find a suitable alternative through the run of the show.As City of Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber recently wrote, “Panic should not be part of our playbook.” So, with extra measures, responsible management, and a sense of cautious determination, the show must go on.
